INTRODUCING Ghost Buddy: Zero to Hero with Henry Winkler & LIN OLIVER
The unbeatable team of Henry Winkler and Lin Oliver have paired together again to create a hilarious and engaging new series called “Ghost Buddy”. This series for middle school-aged kids addresses topics such as bullying and living in a blended family. You’ll get to know more about the unlikely friendship between Billy Broccoli, a young boy who just wants to fit in, and Hoover “The Hoove” Porterhouse, his super-cool ghostly roommate. Attendees will receive a classroom guide, poster and bookmarks which include activities for: Creative Writing, Arts and Crafts, Empathy and Anti-Bullying, Helping Others and Responsibility.
Henry and Lin's previous work together includes the extremely popular HANK ZIPZERseries. Henry is incredibly involved in children's welfare efforts and has proven to be an enormously successful and engaging speaker on the subject of children's literacy and learning. Lin Oliver is the creator of SCBWI and an educational specialist who has been writing engaging books for children for years. The two of them add up to a perfect pair for an engaging, and popular event!
